I'm Ellen W., the breeder behind J and E located in Bisbee, AZ. We started showing dogs in the early ’80s. They are our family and are very important to us. We started in AKC dogs to make our breed better. We finished many dogs and also bred 82 therapy dogs over 35 years. We breed for temperament, health, and of course, beautiful babies! They are very important to us and we want the families that get them to enjoy them as much as we do.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In the early '80s, we started showing, and once we finished our first dog we planned a breeding with another champion dog. Over the years, we also were very proud of all the therapy dogs we bred. They went to nursing homes, libraries for kids reading to them, and other programs. They sleep, eat and play with us daily. We are always proud of our accomplishments with our animals!

  • What makes your program special?

    We are always with our animals so they are very used to the attention! We do not breed something that we wouldn’t want to keep ourselves. We have shown and finished dogs that we have gotten spayed or neutered for various reasons; if their health testing didn’t pass or because we didn’t need to keep a puppy out of that line. We don’t feel every dog needs to be bred.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ellen

Puppy prices include between $1,800 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We have a litter of exceptional Chihuahuas the mother has five points with a four-point major as a puppy. She is from an excellent pedigree. We’re almost all dogs are champions or grand champion. The father is an excellent pedigree where his parents were shown and finished along with several dogs and his pedigree. They are beautiful babies. We will take a deposit after we have spoken in person to the interested family. We want to be sure this is the right fit first.”

Ellen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy.
