I'm Jared R., the breeder behind Jewels and Spots Dalmatians located in Scarsdale, NY. We are a family-based Dalmatian program in Westchester County, NY. Our puppies are raised in our home with daily socialization, enrichment, and hands-on care. We focus on health, temperament, and lifelong companionship, and are committed to matching each puppy with the right family.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love for Dalmatians inspired us to begin breeding. After years of enjoying the breed as part of our family, we decided to raise a carefully planned litter from champion bloodlines. We are committed to responsible breeding practices, early socialization, and supporting families throughout their puppy’s life.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in our home as part of our family, not in a kennel environment. From birth, they receive daily handling, socialization, and enrichment to help them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions. We combine champion bloodlines with a focus on health, temperament, and lifelong support for the families who welcome our puppies home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Jared

Jared has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jared partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC registration, BAER hearing testing, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, health records, and early socialization.”

Contract & health guarantee

Jared may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Today is a bittersweet milestone for us—our puppies are officially old enough to begin going to their forever homes. Over the past eight weeks, we’ve poured our hearts into raising this litter, and we’re incredibly grateful that every puppy has found a wonderful family except one. Gray is our last available puppy. She has received a clean bill of health, is BAER hearing tested, microchipped, and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Our priority is finding her the perfect forever home, so if you’ve been considering adding a Dalmatian to your family, we’d love to hear from you. We are happy to have a conversation with serious, loving families.

Litter update on 29 June •
🐾 Only Three Puppies Remaining! 🐾 As our puppies prepare to go home beginning July 5, we have just three wonderful puppies still available: 💚 Green – Male 🧡 Orange – Female 🩶 Gray – Female These three have been raised in our home with lots of love, daily socialization, and exposure to family life. They have been BAER hearing tested, microchipped, and will receive their first vaccinations and routine deworming this Friday. Each has a unique personality, and we’d be happy to help you find the perfect fit for your family. If you’ve been thinking about bringing home a Dalmatian, we’d love to hear from you. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
