About Groot
Groot is a special young boy, we have been focusing on field trials and hunt tests with him and he has not fallen short of our expectations. We can't wait to see what this boy accomplishes in the future. At only 1 year old Groot has gone 5/5 passes on his senior hunt title, earned his first MH pass. At 2 years old Groot has now Finished his FC title, we will continue to work to his AFC as he only needs a few Points. In his off time he has been racking up some performance titles as well. Gator is a dream to live with he is a softer boy with an unbeatable temperament that would be a great addition to any breeding program. Gunner is the foundation to our breeding program. He is everything a shorthair should be, he is full of drive and willingness to please, but also comes with an amazing on/off switch. He has a solid and stable temperament which allows him to succeed in any event you throw him in. Gunner has competed in a wide range of events such as Dock diving, Field trials, Barn hunt, Disc and much more! Even in his older age we are still working towards more titles. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel, Cone Degeneration, German Shorthaired Pointer Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
