Q. & A. with Michele

  • Why did you start breeding?

Jeff was raised with pets, including dogs, and I ALWAYS wanted one of my own. We got married and got a dog, and then another, and another. Many years ago, we started breeding so our children would always have adorable puppies to play with while being homeschooled. It has been such a fun adventure! The Portuguese Water Dog is our favorite breed--the perfect size and personality for us.
  • What makes your program special?

We are UNIQUE compared to breeders we have met and observed over the years. Each of us are involved in the lives of our pets and puppies. We truly are a family team. Read our website to learn what it means to raise a "home-grown", "family-life" puppy, who is so well adjusted and bonded to people. Our customers are thrilled! Read our many 5 star reviews on Google and keehncountryporties.com.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown and white, black and white, black, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
