Puppies are raised in-home with early stimulation, socialization, crate and potty training, plus lifelong breeder support.

Why did you start breeding?
I first got a Chihuahua which I never thought I would as I love big dogs, but I immediately fell in love with their huge personalities and I was hooked. When I went to get another (they are like potato chips, you can't have just one!) I got her from an amazing show breeder/handler and the rest is history.What makes your program special?
Each puppy at Keljim’s Chihuahuas is started on an early neurological stimulation program designed to support confident temperaments and healthy stress responses. Puppies are gently and safely exposed to a variety of environments, people, and age-appropriate experiences, helping them grow into well-adjusted, confident companions capable of handling new situations with ease.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, cream, fawn, black sabled fawn, blue fawn, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Kelley

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kelley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppies are matched according to what the buyer is looking for whether a show prospect puppy, an addition to their breeding program, or a wonderful life-long loving companion animal. We strive to balance the puppy personality with buyers desire for a certain size/look in order to create the best match possible and ensure that our puppy goes to it’s forever home.”
Price
“Puppy price will vary depending on if the puppy is for a family pet (limited AKC registration and a spay/neuter contract), or is a show or breeding prospect. A puppy can be "held" with a $500 deposit and a written agreement that you understand that the deposit is non-refundable in accordance with the sales contract parameters.”

Program update on 16 June •…I wanted to provide an update for anyone who is following along with the Sadie and Jaguar litter. While the veterinarian who performed the ultrasound claimed that he saw three healthy heartbeats, recent x-ray has confirmed that there is only one very large puppy. Unfortunately, this means that Sadie will have to undergo a C-section, but the most important thing is that mom and baby are healthy. She is very close so at this time, we are just watching and waiting.

Program update on 29 May •…Miss Sadie had her ultrasound today and pregnancy is definitely confirmed. Although we can’t give an exact count, the doctor believes that he saw three healthy heartbeats. ❤️❤️❤️

Program update on 29 May •…Calvin gone to his new home! We couldn’t be happier for him as well as Colleen and Tony. He’s going to have a wonderful life and he’s going to have such a great time with his new little brother Thor. ❤️🐾🐾

Program update on 22 May •…Darling Sadie is definitely looking a little thick these days. She’s also taken a keen interest in the puppy in the playpen, which is new for her. We will find out on June 11 with the confirmation exam shows. It’s a very exciting time!

Sadie is out of a Grand Champion smooth coat dad and gorgeous long coat mom with plenty of great bloodlines in her pedigree as well. She is a very playful and sweet girl and has true athleticism. She's only 4 pounds, but she is a solid muscular girl. Her temperament is confident and calm, but she can get pretty feisty when it is time for fun and games!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
