I'm Todd & Dr. Priya V., the breeder behind Kings Court Kennel located in Raleigh, NC. We are a husband and wife, Breeder and Veterinarian team! We specifically breed for sober minded temperament, intelligence, athleticism, and high drive. Our dogs excel in personal and property protection work, sports, obedience, and conformation, in addition to being loving family dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
We are so enamored with our foundation female, Nahla, that we wanted to be a part of competing, advancing the breed, and giving opportunity for other families to have such phenomenal healthy, stable minded, family protective dogs!
What makes your program special?
Being veterinarian owned, we have veterinary guidance at all stages, ensuring the health and well being of our dogs and puppies as they grow. We also have specific nutrition, physical exercises, training, and socialization programs to start our puppies out to be the best possible family protective dog.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price ranges depending on the quality and training of the puppy. All puppies are UKC and FSS (AKC) registered, temperament tested, highly socialized, dewormed and vaccinated at appropriate ages. Deposit guarantees your spot on the list of pick of the litter. Deposits are non-refundable because we want to be sure our puppies go to homes that are committed and prepared for a Presa puppy.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
