Planned Australian Koolie litter
Due Apr. 2026
I'm Caitlin K., the breeder behind Kismet Mountain Koolies located in Colorado. Australian Koolies are an active herding breed. As working dogs they need daily enrichment and exercise. Koolies do best in a home where they have a job: herding, nosework, training, etc. Our dogs will be by your side as your adventure buddies, homestead helpers, or as your hobby sports teammate.

Caitlin has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Puppies will have age appropriate vaccines as well as deworming. They will receive a vet exam prior to going home. Puppies will be microchipped, embark tested, and will go home with a puppy package. Deposits will be taken at 4 weeks of age. Puppies are matched first and foremost by personalities. Gender preference are taken into consideration. Color will never impact price."
Caitlin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Caitlin offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Caitlin directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Caitlin.

About Ruh (Roo)
Ruh is my partner in crime 🐾 environmentally stable (fully task & public access trained*) 🥏 disc crackhead (will accept toy rewards, willingly tugs, overall medium-low toy drive) 🦴 medium-high food drive (will work for kibble, will steal treat bags, does not have a hard mouth) 🦆 enjoys herding ducks and releases pressure naturally 🐑 thoughtful when herding sheep, but will back down when challenged 💤 solid off switch 🎾 needs quality enrichment every three days (discovered while sick; my crew regularly gets daily enrichment via pasture romps, chews, training, frozen treats, pasture walks, etc) 🐶 dog social (has helped me raise dozens of foster puppies and accepts adult foster dogs) 🧒🏼 child approved (I do not have children, but my niece visits us for a month every summer and we see her throughout the year, and Ruh is obsessed. We have several children visit regularly when we raise the puppies, and Ruh loves seeing them and willingly lets them handle her and her puppies) 🐾 overall medium-high drive and medium energy🐾
