Meet the breeder

I'm Christopher M., the breeder behind Kismet Vizslas located in Riverview, IN. We absolutely love this breed and it’s our goal to produce the best examples of the breed through intelligent and responsible breeding practices. We’ve incorporated numerous National Field Champions and Dual Champions to produce pups that can excel at anything a handler and pup put their minds to!

Q. & A. with Christopher

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the breed through my first vizsla Stetson 14 years ago. Stetson became my best friend and joined me in just about any activity you could think of. Stetson was and is the most loving dog you can imagine. He was incredibly trainable and intelligent. We jumped into hunting, then hunt tests, then field trials. After 4 years experience in competition, we began our breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

We pay close attention to every aspect of breeding the ideal vizsla. Selecting the best of the best to breed to. Proving our pups through competition. Monitoring for health concerns. Providing the best nutrition. Raising pups in our home with tons of socialization. Testing pups to understand individual personalities. Pairing individuals with ideal homes. Providing guidance to new pup parents!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Christopher

Christopher has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Christopher partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. We use the Volhard puppy aptitude test to evaluate temperament, working potential, and behavioral tendencies. Based on this information and the needs and desires of each family we will make matches when pups are old enough to be evaluated, around 7 weeks. ”
