I'm Kris, the breeder behind Kris Fitzgerald's Icelandic Sheepdogs located in Waverly, NY. My passion is to breed quality pups with a focus on temperament and breed standards and connect them with loving forever homes! I am purposeful in everything that I do regarding my dogs, which includes careful selection of breeding dogs and extensive health testing. My goal is to produce healthy dogs with great temperaments that are exemplary representations of the breed. I can't wait to connect with you!

Why did you start breeding?
I hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs. I wanted to put my passion for these dogs to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these incredible breeds.What makes your program special?
My program is committed to only producing a litter when my breeding dogs meet or exceed the careful guidelines for quality that are essential to improving these amazing breeds. All dogs deserve nothing less than to be cherished, spoiled, and pampered, so I strive to place all my puppies in homes where they will be loved as family members. From birth, my puppies will grow in a secure, loving environment where they know that they matter to their family -- that they have a purpose.Where do your breeding dogs live?
