  • Why did you start breeding?

    As social media has expanded the popularity of casual breeding, the value of thoughtful, principled breeding has become increasingly important. Poor breeding often leaves owners paying for preventable health and temperament issues. I hope to leave a lasting contribution to the breed and foster awareness of ethical breeding, breed preservation, and responsible ownership within my community.

  • What makes your program special?

    As a professional trainer, I’m able to provide each family with ongoing support throughout every stage of your dog’s life - including training, behavior, and breed-specific insight. Health Certifications are publicly recorded through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), ensuring complete transparency and accountability for every family who entrusts one of my puppies with their future.

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

Kristen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Puppy selection order is determined by the order in which deposits are received. Families will be invited to choose their puppy when their place in the reservation list is reached. However, the breeder reserves the right to retain any puppy, at any time, for breeding, show, performance, or program development purposes. In such cases, subsequent reservation holders will move forward in selection order.”

Puppy prices include a $300 deposit and between $1,700 - $5,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Your puppy will come with a microchip registered in your name. He/she will come with their AKC “pet” registration form or link. You will receive your puppy’s pedigree and a limited health guarantee. Deposits are non refundable only except: • if the desired sex is not produced • if the puppy is determined to be unfit or unwell and there are no comparable puppies available to replace him/her.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kristen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
