I'm Sarah K., the breeder behind Lagotti di Mesilla located in Las Cruces, NM. Our puppies are raised with our family and on our farm - Surrounded by the chaos of daily farm life! Puppy days are filled with focused neurological development and physical nurturing with the belief that the more varied the experiences the more rounded to lagotto will become! Bred well-loved well!
Q. & A. with Sarah
Why did you start breeding?
In 2020 our family was blessed to bring Malva into our family - She joined us from Sweden to have her last litter of 9 puppies and has now retired as a spoiled part of our household … the joy we found in raising her litter - was something we knew we had to do again - so with three of her girls being kept in the family and 2 1/2 years later we are able to experience it all again !
What makes your program special?
Our small farm in the Mesilla Valley helps us introduce our amazing Lagotti into a truly diverse environment and our connections here and abroad to the larger Lagotto world are extensive -
Keeping us on point with all early neurological, physical, social development aides for each step of raising these amazing dogs. We are very intentional in our breeding for both breed standard and temperament.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown roan, off-white, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
