Meet the breeder

I'm Olga O., the breeder behind Lagotto Illinois located in North Barrington, IL. Our dogs spend about 4-5 hours outside every day. They get the best food, which is a combination of organic raw meat with Royal Canin dry food. We raise healthy dogs with great temperaments, perfect for any family.

Q. & A. with Olga

  • Why did you start breeding?

I first developed a passion for breeding dogs in my native country. I have bred thousands of healthy puppies throughout my entire life. My friend is a vet, and also breeds dogs. Over the years, she has helped me understand lots of things about breeding dogs, such as proper care and breed standards. I fell in love with Lagotti after seeing how smart, and low maintenance they are.
  • What makes your program special?

All of my dogs are bred with proper care, and health. We made sure to educate ourselves before breeding Lagotti, and have years of experience with Sporting breeds. Our daughter specialises in grooming, and showing dogs in AKC. She works with a professional handler, who continues to educate her about proper training and breeding methods. We are home based breeders, who love to raise well rounded dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, off-white, orange, brown roan, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
