I'm Cristina L., the breeder behind Lake City Dals located in Northern, NY. We raise AKC LUA & HUA puppies in our home as part of our family. They are handled and loved from day one. Our puppies are raised to be well-rounded, happy, healthy puppies that are well socialized and good representatives of the breed. We are part of the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T. Program and we look forward to helping you bring home your best friend.

Why did you start breeding?
I want to preserve the breed and raise happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies that make great family pets. I absolutely love the breed's personality and want to share well-bred Dalmatians with others. They have such a human personality and a huge love for their humans. They are goofy, funny, loyal, and extremely affectionate. They just have a way of making you feel happy!What makes your program special?
We love our dogs deeply, and they are a part of our family. We breed specifically for health and temperament. Our adult dogs are all health-tested and socialized. Some of our adult dogs participate in performance events. Our puppies are raised in our home following Puppy Culture protocols. Happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppies are our goal.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"A $500 deposit is required. Remaining balance is due on or before pickup. Deposit is non-refundable. Deposit is deducted from total amount due at pickup."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
