Laura H.

Breeder of Chihuahuas

Meet the breeder

I'm Laura H., the breeder behind Laura's Chihuahuas located in Victoria, TX. My Chihuahuas are bred for soundness, correctness and temperament. All parents are health tested with OFA and proven in the AKC show ring and through performance sports.

Q. & A. with Laura

  • Why did you start breeding?

It was a natural transition from breeding and showing horses into breeding and showing Chihuahuas. I enjoy focusing on improving the next generation while also planning for the future ones.
  • What makes your program special?

I know my dog’s strengths and weaknesses well. I live with them, care for them, train them and show them. Every dog is an individual. If a dog shows qualities for scent work we’ll train and compete in scent work, so they can have fun using their natural abilities. Being able to assess and train dogs helps ensure that people will be matched with the right dog for their goals and lifestyle.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
