I am truly impressed with the exceptional quality of German Shorthairs that Nancy L. has available. Her dedication and knowledge are clearly reflected when she speaks about her dogs. Communication was wonderful and she encouraged continued contact. Nancy went out of her way to arrange the pickup of the puppy. She brought his amazing sire and a few littermates, it was evident that she cares about a secure placement of her puppies. Nancy was everything I could have hoped for in a breeder. She responded promptly to all questions, doesn't over-breed her dogs, and raises them in a loving home with plenty of visitors. She regularly posts photos and videos of the puppies so you can see their personalities shining through before you even go to pick one up. As if that wasn't enough, she was extremely accommodating. She lives in a lovely but remote spot and was willing to meet me at a "nearby" airport three hours away, with multiple puppies for me to choose from — which was the hardest part of the whole process! How on earth do you pick between a litter of basically perfect puppies? We brought our puppy home and he's just the best — everything you could hope for in a well-adjusted pup. It's so sweet seeing how, even just a couple of weeks in, he's already adjusting to our family, our patterns, and learning how to be a good boy. Nancy really is the perfect combination: a breeder who genuinely cares about her dogs and the health of their pups, who makes sure owners know what they're getting into and offers plenty of prep tips, and who somehow does all that without being snobby or elitist like some breeders who insist you raise and train the dog exactly their way. If you're looking for a German Shorthaired Pointer or a Weimaraner, you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to get one than from Nancy.
