I'm Nancy L., the breeder behind Lazy Hearts Kennel located in Glendive, MT. We offer quality-bred hunting dogs. We hand raise each of our puppies to ensure a reliable temperament and cherished companionship. We strive to produce outstanding puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. Our dogs work hard, play hard, love hard, and are part of the family. We prepare all of our pups to excel in life.

Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the German Shorthaired Pointer and Weimaraner will continue to thrive for generations to come. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Cone Degeneration, German Shorthaired Pointer Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+5I got Winston from Nancy almost two months ago. Winston is currently training to be a bird dog. His trainers say he has amazing instincts and is super easy to work with compared to other dogs. He is unbelievably eager to please and just the best puppy I have ever had the pleasure of training. I am so excited for him to be done with his training since he is the sweetest house dog and a great hunting dog.
