Why did you start breeding?
Our first litter was bred and whelped in 1998. Skye gave us 12 wonderful puppies. I am passionate about improving upon my lines and sharing my love for these breeds in a responsible way to ensure they move forward for generations to come.What makes your program special?
I truly love these breeds and am dedicated to looking out for them as a whole. I am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I am very dedicated to what I do and what I am trying to achieve as a breeder. I work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Basenji lines.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Fanconi Syndrome, PRA, Basenji Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
