Professional pictures by Adysen Grace Photography. It was like chasing cats. Every minute was so fun! Dam and Sire pictures in the update. They are both stunning!

Asher and Poppy's litter

The weathers been raining nonstop. We finally got a break offering an excellent opportunity to teach the pups how to go up and down the ramp to the play yard. Mama Poppy went up and down giving pups the confidence to give it a go. They did great. Five weeks and hitting important milestones!

Needless to say, the pups wear proof that their first taste of food outside the milk bar was AMAZING. We offer raw dog food with supplemental puppy kibble and goats milk 3x a day while Poppy nurses then 3-6x a day. They’ll be fully weaned by 6 weeks. It’s a gradual process the pups take to perfectly well. Poppy naturally weans them. God created nature so intricate and awe inspiring.

It’s been a whirlwind with Christmas festivities, puppies and home life. Pups are loved by the whole family, nieces and nephews alike! They met the chickens, and get their first gruel and bath to follow tomorrow. They are so sweet and absolutely beautiful!

My horse lives at my dear friend’s ranch across the street from us. She breed Dobermans and has a nonprofit I serve at called, Living Hope Youth Ranch. Today was field trip day to visit the Dobermans, dachshund, Boston terrier and horses. They all did awesome!

After eating it was bath and blowout spa time. Sheepadoodle grooming is important, they’ll be in the doggy salon whether the parent or a professional groomer does it. Pups go home with a solid start and familiarity to all the steps: nail clipping, ears cleaned, clippers, high velocity blow dryer, and being washed and towel dried. This is the first of many more. I expose them daily to the process, not always soaping them but rinse and dry to ensure they see it as second nature.

Today was the first taste of puppy gruel.

After the wagon ride, adventures in the backyard commenced. Chloe nursed them into a state of relaxation and safety. When bellies were full, the pups romped around the yard with curiosity leading their noses. It was a wonderful first outdoor experience. I’m pleased the weather was warm enough to venture out!

Korina B.
Today the pups went on a wagon ride to explore the sounds and sights of town. The weather was spectacular and the journey short and sweet. Daily trips in the wagon accustom pups to their outdoor environment, future car rides all while being prudent with their health.

About Chloe
Chloe is pure joy in motion ☀️ She’s always happy, always ready for the next adventure, and constantly on the lookout for a new best friend. She loves to run, play, and explore the world around her with bright, confident energy. She even “dances” and talks with her paws like an expressive little storyteller — her zest for life is tangible. 🐾✨

About Poppy
Poppy is truly one of a kind — a quiet, loyal companion with an exceptional temperament. I’ve never met another poodle so steady and serene; she rarely barks, moves with calm confidence, and stays faithfully at my horse’s heel whether we’re on trails or in the arena. Her gentle spirit shines around chickens and livestock, showing no prey drive and an shows respect for animals (cats, goats, horses, other dogs, birds, squirrels). Poppy is affectionate when invited, intuitive with people, and always eager to please. She’s my riding partner, farm shadow, and constant friend — a remarkable dog in every way. We’re thrilled about her upcoming litter and can’t wait to see her pass on her incredible disposition and intelligence.

Old English Sheepdog
About River
River is a sweet girl whom we adopted in March 2022, born on August 11, 2019. She is 75 pounds, 25 inches at the wither, and a purebred Old English Sheepdog. She is what is known as an "extreme white" in the OES world, and normally dons the trademark fluffy coat, although she is currently growing that out after a shave (which we don't recommend btw, but sometimes things just happen...) She loves following us around the house, yard, hikes, snuggling with my youngest children, putting her head on anyone who will gaze into her eyes and give her attention. She talks when she needs something, is obsessed with chew sticks, bones, and her dog bed. She has the typical OES Velcro dog temperament that’s low-key, sensitive, and playful. She loves being by and on her people. Old English Sheepdogs are the best foot warmers!

Old English Sheepdog
About Sir Watson
Watson an unregistered purebred OES. He is low key, friendly, independent, and fiercely loyal. He is 24 inches tall to the shoulder. OES are often called the “velcro” dogs because they are always wanting to be nearby. They love to touch their humans without much cuddling (hence their independent nature). They love to be part of all the happenings.
