Meet the breeder

I'm Deanna L., the breeder behind Lotsofdots Dalmatians located in Claremore, OK. We breed AKC HUA and LUA Dalmatians. Our puppies are raised in our home and handled daily. We breed specifically for temperament and are also part of the AKC bred with H.E.A.R.T. Program. If you have any questions about puppies, current, or future litters please send us a message. Puppies are normally sold as pets only but full AKC rights are occasionally available.

Q. & A. with Deanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first Dalmatian when I was 10 years old and knew I would have Dalmatians for the rest of my life. I wanted people to experience the pure bliss of owning a Dalmatian. They are such an amazing breed, fiercely loyal, super affectionate, and hysterical clowns. They just make you happy and that is something I want to share with people.
  • What makes your program special?

We breed specifically for health and temperament. Our adult dogs are all health tested, well socialized, and obedience trained. Some of our adults have their AKC Canine Goodcitizenship Awards and come from a line of Certified therapy dogs. Puppies are well socialized and loved in our home. Our puppies are extremely intelligent and make great companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

When I began my search for a Dalmatian, it was so important to our family to find a responsible breeder. Deanna is so much more than that. From the beginning she was incredibly helpful and has a true love for Dalmatians. Her love for her pups made me even more excited to finally get one for our family. She was so helpful throughout the entire process. When our puppy, Onyx, arrived, she sent a binder full of everything a new dog owner could dream of. I would highly recommend Deanna to anyone looking to add a Dalmatian to their family!

Deanna truly loves Dals, she know all about the breed, the health concerns, and puts love and care into all her dames and sires and their pups. She knew each pups’ personality and could make a recommendation on best match for us based on that knowledge. She wants to make sure all new owners will care for their new family member to the best of their ability.

We had an awesome experience working with Deanna. She made everything super easy from start to finish, and you can tell she really cares about her dogs. When we picked up Penelope, she sent us home with everything we could possibly need — food, toys, a blanket, vet records, and a ton of helpful info. What I appreciated most was how prepared she made us feel. She walked us through all the vaccines, what to expect at the vet, and everything we needed to know for those first few weeks. We never felt lost or overwhelmed. Penelope is amazing, and it’s clear she came from a great home. Couldn’t recommend Deanna enough if you’re looking for a well-cared-for, happy puppy and a breeder who’s genuinely great to work with.

We were finally ready to make my childhood dream come true, and Deanna made the entire experience absolutely amazing. She was so helpful and patient in answering all my questions, and through what felt like a series of little miracles, we were able to welcome our beautiful Dalmatian girl into our family very quickly. I really appreciate that Deanna continues to be there for us even after bringing our pup home—she genuinely cares about her dogs and stays connected with the new pup parents. I love that she encourages us to connect with other families from the same litter, creating such a supportive and joyful community. We couldn’t be happier and are so grateful to Deanna for helping make this dream a reality!
