I'm Danielle V., the breeder behind Mae Boerboel located in Manitowoc, WI. Our Goal here at Mae Boerboel is to produce a Functional, Robust and Faithful companion for you and your family!
We are determined to produce only that. In order for us to bring that out in our dogs, we are stepping over and beyond what would be considered convenient to us. We are taking the faults in the breed and only pairing them to what we think would be improving what we already have, which means scouring the country for the right matches.
If you would like to join the Mae Boerboel family, please call or email with any questions you may have. We look forward to speaking with you! .
Q. & A. with Danielle
What makes your program special?
Our Boerboels are apart of our family and daily life. Along with NEEDING to have a solid temperament, we also ensure to FULLY health test our breeding dogs, (PennHIP, OFA Elbows, OFA Basic Heart, Echocardiagram, VH, EN/EC and Full Optimal Selection DNA profile) done. We do this to ensure we aren't "purposely" breeding dogs with any hidden issues.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, fawn, reddish brown, cream, tawny, brown, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Jane was exactly what I was hoping for from this breeding between Black Iron Tucker and Mae Ivar. Jane has the body of her father Tucker and the face and personality of her dear mother Ivar.
