I'm Mara H., the breeder behind MaraTime Portuguese Water Dogs located in Oregon. Our dogs and pups are raised in our home and are loved as family. We strive to produce high-quality show prospects and companions. We enjoy training our dogs for water trials and agility, competing in conformation shows, and spending lots of time with them doing a variety of other activities! We love our dogs dearly and are so proud of their accomplishments.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
