I'm Jennifer R., the breeder behind Marble Creek Irish Wolfhounds located in Superior, MT. Our dogs are bred with the breed standard in mind. My goal is to raise puppies that conform to the standard with the ability to do what they were bred to do. I like an athletic dog, but also one that is just as happy cuddling on the couch with me.
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
I have had wolfhounds for 40 years. I bred my first litter almost two years ago. I was very fortunate to get my foundation bitch from a long time breeder of quality wolfhounds. It is my hope to preserve the integrity of the breed by only breeding the best in temperament, conformation and health.
What makes your program special?
I research the pedigrees extensively to ensure that the dogs I am putting together are well matched in type and temperament as well as knowing the health history of the dogs behind them.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
