Q. & A. with Erica & Paul
Why did you start breeding?
My dad brought home our first Shorthair, Sadie, in 1994 and we haven't looked back since! She became the matriarch, the first of many who could truly do it all. Sadie set the standard that we strive to maintain and build upon with our puppies. If you are looking for the perfect companion or hunting partner, look no further! We fell in love with this extraordinary breed over twenty-five years ago, and that love fuels a purpose that continues still today.
What makes your program special?
Marshall's Shorthairs is a premier breeder of versatile German Shorthaired Pointers. Our focus on every aspect of the breed is what brings our program to the front of the pack. Our dogs are healthy both mentally and physically prior to breeding to ensure quality puppies. We strive to maintain and improve upon the unique qualities that this versatile breed has to offer. Our commitment is to provide you with a professional and personable puppy-buying experience; which includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and finding homes for our puppies.
