Meet the breeder

I'm Angela S., the breeder behind Mecham's Rat Pack located in Mc Alester, OK. We strive to be an ethical breeder, and that mission guides every decision we make. All of our dogs are fully health tested and titled through AKC. Chic numbers on all breeding dogs as well as Champion/Grand Champion titles.

Q. & A. with Angela

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started showing and competing with my rat terriers in 2021. Last year under the mentorship of a long time rat terrier breeder, I co-bred my first litter.
  • What makes your program special?

I health test and temperament test all of my dogs. They are also proven in the show ring as well as performance. Being a trainer, I do a lot of extra work with my puppies like crate training, leash training and potty training.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white black and tan and black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
