I'm Meghan T., the breeder behind Meghan Tallman located in Kc, MO. I breed the same way my parents did--I am here for the life of your pup. My focus is on health and temperament first, all else is a plus. My pups are heavily socialized and in the lines of Puppy Culture. My pups do not leave until I believe they are ready to be in their new homes. My focus is on excellence in every aspect. I offer top-quality Vizla's for show and pet homes.
Q. & A. with Meghan
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding has been in my family since I was a young woman. My first memories were running from puppies to pole vault into my playpen to save myself. My folks were developing their breeding program, showing, field trialing etc. so I grew up attending shows and events with my family. This is one family tradition I hope to continue! I am very involved in showing my dogs, however, they are beloved companions first and foremost. I decided to responsibly breed them as a way to connect my pups to others that will love them just as much as I do.
What makes your program special?
I'm breeding to improve my line and insure the breed and my dogs continue to produce well socialized field dogs that can make the transition into the home. I am one of a few breeders that are very active in rescues. I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
