Meet the breeder

I'm Kala P., the breeder behind Merles and More Chihuahuas of Michigan located in Ferndale, MI. Our dogs are so loved and we want the very best for them! They're all very well cared for and socialized. They come home vet checked, vaccinated, and sent home with a FREE month of health insurance from Trupanion. They're great with kids, cats, and other small dogs (not sure about large breeds).

Q. & A. with Kala

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding because I absolutely love Chihuahuas and I strive to better the breed and produce the best of the line that I possibly can. I put my all into each and every puppy in my care!
  • What makes your program special?

I treat my animals like part of the family. They're not locked in cages. They're shown constant love and attention. And for that reason, you'll have a very well rounded puppy!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, black sabled fawn, blue, blue brindled fawn, chocolate brindled fawn, red and white, black and white, black and tan, blue merle, fawn and white, cream and white, and chocolate and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
