I'm Libby S., the breeder behind Micci Italian Greyhounds located in Phoenix, AZ. I am a preservation breeder actively involved in showing and dog sports. We only breed dogs we feel are excellent examples of the breed, and we make sure each puppy gets the best start. We are dedicated to health, early socialization, training, and making sure every puppy lives its best happy life.
Q. & A. with Libby
Why did you start breeding?
I love showing Italian Greyhounds in the conformation ring and watching them do what they were bred to do on the field. I started my breeding program to continue my line, and I focus on breeding well built and well adjusted puppies for this purpose. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
We take into account many various complementary traits in order to improve the line and produce healthy puppies with the best futures possible. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We care deeply for our puppies, raise them with tons of love and care and make sure that each goes to the best home possible.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
