I'm Michel B., the breeder behind Mira Vizslas located in Fairchild, WI. My primary goal as a breeder is to produce a good-tempered companion with the ability to live a long, healthy life. I expect my puppies to have the genetics and instincts to be superior hunting companions. That's the type of dog I grew up with, and the type I think people still deserve to have today. I am the author of Raised By Vizslas A Collection of Random Thoughts, Opinions, and Ramblings On How to Live With Vizslas, as well as author of the Puppy Training Workbook.
Q. & A. with Michel
Why did you start breeding?
I was 8 months old when my parents brought home their first Vizsla to start their breeding program. I was raised with the breed and have loved them my whole life. It felt only natural as I grew older that I continue their line and breed Vizslas of my own. In 2003, I left my company job to follow this passion full time.
What makes your program special?
I am a proud breeder of Vizslas and am so excited to share my love of them with the world. My heavy involvement in showing, competitions, and education speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. My dogs are bred for temperament, health, conformation, structure, and ability. I will always stand behind my puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
