I'm Phyllis Z., the breeder behind Miraval PWDs located in Millbury, MA. I am an active owner competing with my dogs in conformation, agility, obedience scent work, and PWD water work (based on their work on boats in Portugal.) As an experienced trainer, I support my puppy owners for the life of their dogs. I am a 30-year member of PWDCA and founded 4myPWDs.

Phyllis has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“These puppies are raised with Puppy Culture, have Vet exams & first vaccines, micro-chips, are dewormed, begun crate training, & housebreaking. Lifetime support begins b4 they go home for their life. Your deposit is to hold a puppy for you. It is refundable only if I don't have a puppy that will be a good match. I try to match your preferred sex, coat type & color, but I can't guarantee that. If a life-altering event happens that makes you unable to take a puppy now, you will get a partial refund after the puppy we were holding for you is placed in a new home.”
Phyllis may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Phyllis offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Phyllis directly.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Phyllis.

Portuguese Water Dog
About Xena
Xena is a happy, even-tempered dog. She loves her tennis ball and picking tomatoes in the garden. She is a quick learner and competes in nosework (her favorite), obedience, barn hunt, Fast CAT and water trials, and has a trick title. She is also trained to find the eggs of the invasive Spotted Lantern Fly, and will be working in areas where this pest has been found. I love all my dogs, but she may be the one that is the most fun and easy to travel with. She has a curly coat.
