Meet the breeder

I'm Kinsey L., the breeder behind Moccasin Creek Pointers located in Sanderson, FL. Our breeding program emphasizes health, temperament, and versatile performance. Our dogs are selected for sound structure, strong hunting instincts, and cooperative, family-friendly dispositions. We prioritize early socialization/ exposure, setting each pup up for success as a loyal companion.

Q. & A. with Kinsey

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our background is rooted in a lifelong connection to the land, having grown up on a farm and around animals. In recent years, that lifestyle naturally grew into a passion for hunting and working closely with German Shorthaired Pointers. Spending time training and hunting their own dogs sparked a deeper appreciation for the breed and ultimately an interest in breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

Living on a working farm to raise and develop dogs, we value the GSP’s incredible versatility. Our dogs are true companions in every sense—joining them on hunting trips and fishing days, then settling at home as affectionate family members, sleeping alongside the kids at night. Our program is built on that balance, aiming to produce well-rounded GSPs that thrive both in the field and at home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
