I'm Sarah Q., the breeder behind Moormont Kennels located in Yucaipa, CA. We take a responsible approach to a passion for working terriers. We focus on temperament, working ability, health and type. Our dogs are first and foremost our companions and are treated as such. All of our dogs are active and compete in a multitude of different canine sports. Our dogs also have completed all recommended health testing.

Why did you start breeding?
I began breeding with a mentor/friend in Belgian Shepherd dogs, owning co-owned dogs and assisting with the rearing of puppies.What makes your program special?
Our program is special because all of the dogs in our house (not just our breeding program) have sports titles and are our pets. The focus on stability in temperament while maintaining drive is our biggest goal.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
Getting a puppy from Sarah
Sarah has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Pricing include tail docking, microchip, starter vaccinations, worming, embark testing, and registrations. Puppies come with UKC and PTCA registration paperwork. Puppies are selected for potential owners by breeder based on personality and drives. Puppies are evaluated for placement and no announcements are made for placements until 7-9 weeks of age.”
Contract & health guarantee
Sarah may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
