I'm Christine R., the breeder behind Morrigan Irish Terriers located in Woodland, CA. Our program has produced excellent show ring and performance dogs, but we’re equally proud of all the dogs that we’ve placed in loving homes as family companions.
Q. & A. with Christine
Why did you start breeding?
I started with a dog that quickly finished his CH. I then bought a bitch with an agreement that when she finished her CH, she would be bred
What makes your program special?
I work from home which allows me to spend a great deal of time getting puppies ready to go out in the world to their new homes. All breedings are done with preservation of the breed in mind so I produce Irish terriers that consistency look and act like Irish Terriers. I have a wonderful network of other IT breeders to discuss pedigrees and best breeding practices and matches with.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
