I'm Michelle S., the breeder behind Natelsong Chihuahuas located in Crescent City, CA. We offer top-quality family pets with a focus on health and temperament! Our dogs are bred to the AKC standard for health and temperament and raised in our home with our family. We perform OFA-certified tests on our dogs once they are over the age of one-year-old for their patellas, hearts, and eyes. Once they pass, they become part of our program. This helps ensure that we are breeding only the healthiest Chihuahua’s.

Why did you start breeding?
I became a Preservation breeder after I owned my first chihuahua and it captured my heart! To know a chihuahua is to be owned by one!!What makes your program special?
I have carefully selected my dogs from some of the top lines in the breed. Each has strengths that the other does not. Most of my dogs are AKC Champions or Grand Champions before they are bred. My goal is to produce sound, healthy Chihuahuas that are bred to our breed's standard.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $1,750 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
