I'm Adele V., the breeder behind Newfiedoodles of WNY located in Elma, NY. We breed sweet, fully health and temperament-tested dogs in our home to produce affectionate, happy, and adorable puppies! Our dogs are loved from the moment they are born. They are exposed to children, other dogs, household noises, car rides, and various surface textures. They are dewormed, and given their first set of vaccines at their veterinarian health check.
Q. & A. with Adele
Why did you start breeding?
I have a wonderful friend who became my mentor. I respected her program so much and saw how rewarding it is to raise well-bred dogs to become members of loving families. I always knew I wanted to breed dogs even from a very young age. I felt very prepared, because of my family background, to begin this rewarding adventure!
What makes your program special?
I health test all of my breeding dogs. My DNA and OFA results are public. My dogs live in my home and are part of the family. We start puppy stimulation, desensitization and socialization from birth. Our puppies are also crate and potty trained.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing
Great level
Newfiedoodles of WNY reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Newfypoos.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
