I'm Jessa M., the breeder behind Northern Lore Windsprites located in Stevens Point, WI. Northern Lore is a small breeding program based in Central Wisconsin. We're dedicated to providing families with exemplary companion animals that are just as happy snuggling on the couch as they are chasing a lure or catching a disc. We value outgoing, friendly, confident temperaments.
Q. & A. with Jessa
Why did you start breeding?
I found Windsprites after many years in foster and rescue work. I was looking for a breed that was easy to live with, easy to care for, easy to train, and easy to take along just about anywhere. Everyone deserves to have access to safe, sane, sound options for their next dog! I believe that responsible breeding of carefully selected stock is the way forward where canine welfare is concerned.
What makes your program special?
Northern Lore is one of very few Windsprite breeding programs located in the Midwest. Our program aims to fit families with the perfect pet for all types of adventures, from the couch to the backyard, from to the ring to the northwoods, and beyond. I adore building community around these wonderful dogs. I'm eager to get to know you and maintain a supportive relationship throughout your dog's life!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
