I'm Raylene M., the breeder behind Northland Boerboels located in Wasilla, AK. Puppies available now! Our primary goal is to produce sound dogs in temperament, health and structure. We love this breed and our dogs are a huge part of our family. Being able to educate others about the breed and provide them with the same joy of owning a Boerboel is my passion in life.

Our puppies include tawny, red, fawn, cream, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Raylene

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Raylene partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We carefully match each puppy to the most appropriate home based on temperament, drive, structure, and the buyer’s lifestyle and experience level. While we absolutely consider buyer preferences (such as male/female, color, or general personality traits), final placement decisions are made by us as the breeder to ensure the best long-term fit for both the puppy and the family. Puppies are evaluated as they develop, and matching typically takes place around 7–8 weeks of age once we can accurately assess temperament and working potential. Buyers are placed in selection order after approval, but we reserve the right to guide or override selections if a different puppy is a better fit. Our goal is to set every puppy and family up for long-term success, stability, and satisfaction. ”

“Price includes age appropriate vaccinations, Lifetime AKC Reunite microchip, Limited AKC registration, health guarantee, vet check, tail docking, temperament testing and lifetime breeder support. To place a deposit on a puppy, you must fill both fill out our application and speak with us. Deposits will not be taken without it. These dogs are part of our family and we want the right families.”

Litter update on 24 Mar •…Our gorgeous Rainbow girl is ready to go to her very own family. If out of state she can fly for the next week or so but after that Alaska only. For those puppies going out of state the process is very easy and we have reliable Flight Nanny’s to get them there safely.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Wisdom Panel, Optimal Selection Genetic Disease Analysis (180+ Diseases)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
