I'm Brady and Ashley M., the breeder behind Old South Jacks located in College Station, TX. We focus on producing a well-rounded puppy that can excel in the show ring or just be the best part of your day to day life. We do our very best to expose our puppies to things they might encounter which we feel provides a safer and happier future for them as well as you.
Q. & A. with Brady and Ashley
Why did you start breeding?
My dad raised Bluetick Coonhounds in the 50s and 60s winning numerous titles and competitions. So I grew up looking at pictures of dogs working and showing along with countless trophies. Then about 14 years ago in the mid-2000s, I got a puppy. That puppy led to a friend which led to an opportunity that has turned into a passion.
What makes your program special?
I think the quality of our dogs combined with raising them in our home makes a difference. From day one our puppies are exposed to the noises, sounds and day to day routines of our home. We feel it makes for a smoother transition.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
