I'm OutBark D., the breeder behind OutBark Dogs & Kennels located in Kentucky. We stand behind the health, structure, and temperament of our puppies and select forever homes that best compliment the unique personalities of each puppy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    OutBark Dogs & Kennels has been involved with training various sporting breeds and working breeds for 15 years. This became a passion to produce a versatile breed standard dog with trainability and success in confirmation sports and in AKC sporting events. Ultimately, to continue on what AKC has since 1884 preserving pure breed dogs as in, the act of conforming or producing conformity.
  • What makes your program special?

    OutBark Dogs Sire and Dam attend various AKC programs but not limited to, confirmation, field trials, scent work detection, Fast Cat, Dock Diving, Trick Dog, Canine Good Citizenship, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Frisbee League. We seek Performance homes to place our German Shorthaired Pointers where they will strive in an environment that will be actively trained to be a versatile Sport Dog Breed.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from OutBark

OutBark has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is dependent on type of home pet is being placed in, all males and females are the same price, puppies are NOT priced based on color or coat type. Type of homes Pet Home, performance/show homes, co owned etc. High end price would be for homes needing Flight Nanny and transportation delivery included which can range in price depending on location. Deposit is non refundable if the new owner backs out or can not follow through with the OutBark contract. Deposit is refundable only if breeder cannot provide a puppy from the litter you were placed on a waiting list for, please refer to contract about full details.”

OutBark may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
