I'm Josep B., the breeder behind Owl Hollow Farms located in Floyd, VA. These incredibly rare puppies from the Pyrenees Mountains of Catalonia are a hidden gem for all those looking for a unique, loving pet! They have two variations, one is low-shedding and long-haired, and the other is a nearly extinct short-haired version. We have both! They are all smart and playful!

Why did you start breeding?
Catalan Sheepdogs are an incredibly rare breed, due to them being caught in the cross fires of the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. Most of the remaining dogs are the long-haired variety, but we are also trying to bring back the nearly extinct short haired variety. This breed is a part of my history and I want to see it flourishing again.What makes your program special?
We are one of the only breeders of Catalan Sheepdogs in the U.S., as well as one of the only breeders of the short-haired variety in the entire world. We also have a variety of coat colorations in our puppies, including solid black, brown, phantom, wild sable, abstract, and tuxedo. But more than anything else, we are dedicated to happy, healthy dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
