Q. & A. with Jan
Why did you start breeding?
When I bought my first registered Great Pyrenees, I knew I wanted to breed. She is too beautiful not to share.
What makes your program special?
My puppy care starts before breeding. I test my Bitch for genetic problems first and she passed. I Xray for any flaws in hips/knees and elbows. She passed. We also Showed in confirmation classes- to make sure we are representing the breed standard.
Pre-natal care through the puppy stages has been closely monitored. The puppies are socialized on all levels possible, farm to inside the home.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
