Meet the breeder

I'm Paige Y., the breeder behind Paige Yager located in Villanova, PA. Out puppies are thoughtfully bred for their intelligence, loyalty, and gentle nature. Raised in our home and on our property, they are well-socialized, confident, and ready to become part of your family.

Q. & A. with Paige

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started breeding because of our love for exceptional Vizslas. After regretting not keeping a puppy from our first wonderful Vizsla, Belvedere, we decided to breed Vesper—an equally outstanding dog—to preserve her temperament, intelligence, and loving nature for ourselves and a few carefully chosen families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program is intentionally small, with quality over quantity. Vesper is our family dog, and every puppy is raised in our home with daily handling and early socialization. We prioritize health, stable temperaments, and lifelong support, carefully matching each puppy with the right family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Parent health testing

Breeder-Reported Testing

Great level

Paige Yager reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Vizslas.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
