I'm Jason M., the breeder behind Paladin Gundogs located in Fairmont, MN. Our Pudelpointers only go to hunters. We are committed to producing versatile gun dogs that are calm in the home but “turn it on” in the field and exhibit an awesome balance of cooperation and a tenacious drive to produce game for the gun.
Q. & A. with Jason
Why did you start breeding?
My son and I took a trip to North Dakota with a young Pudelpointer named Stella. She put on an "out of the park performance". That trip and Stella’s performance the rest of that fall is what made we realize that I wanted to become a breeder.
What makes your program special?
I think that my military bearing, leadership, and application of the military values bring a set of skills that are easily applied to dog work. I have been conditioned to see the big picture and develop training plans, and readiness goals that are realistic, fluent, and kinetic. By kinetic I mean real world effectiveness in the field. We produce dogs and train for the way we hunt.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
