I'm Kathleen M., the breeder behind Patch Wood Irish Jacks located in Sandown, NH. We are a family breeder with a deep love for our dogs. Each dog and puppy is individually socialized, loved, and cared for! We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Russell Terriers into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs?
Q. & A. with Kathleen
Why did you start breeding?
I went to Ireland in high school and ended up coming home with my first Irish Jack. I loved her so much that I decided to look for another and had no luck here in the States. I went back to Ireland and found my foundation male, Nickers, and the rest is history!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs and puppies are first and foremost family members. They are raised in the home, very well socialized, and are well started on their crate training. We also guarantee genetic and temperament issues for life.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

The Irish JR was exactly what I wanted. Luna has filled my heart with joy. My older dog love her. Kathleen was very easy to get a hold of and communicated well with me as I live in Oregon and she in NH
