Meet the breeder

I'm Coral S., the breeder behind Paw Wow Medicine Dogs located in Weedsport, NY. We are passionate about preserving Native American Indian Dogs for future generations to enjoy, focusing on health, trainability, and temperament. Our breeding pairs are health tested with Embark, OFA hips & elbows, thyroid panels, and CAER eye exams. All puppies are raised with Puppy Culture.

Q. & A. with Coral

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with the Native American Indian Dog breed after I purchased my first male, Kodak, in 2014. Soon after bringing him home, I discovered that his ancestor was Cherokee descent, just like my distant ancestor, and it felt like fate. I trained him to be a service dog, & he worked for 6 years. Now, I preservation breed with the NAIDPP so others can experience their beauty, spirit, & love.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding dogs are chosen for their affectionate, intuitive, and loyal temperaments. Before going to their new homes, each puppy will be raised with the Puppy Culture Program and will start socialization and desensitization. Early education for service dog prospects and Board & Training with our professional trainer is available at an extra cost.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
