I'm Hailee L., the breeder behind Pilgrims Trails Shorthairs located in Dugspur, VA. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence! Our dogs are OFA certified for their hips and elbows as well as being tested for genetic diseases.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with the whole idea when I was growing up,watching my mom do it.I have always had a passion for the breed.And knew it was something I wanted to do.It’s been years of wanting to do it,to actually becoming a good breeder.The journey has been amazing.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is special because I have a passion for our fur babies.They are a part of our family.They are more than “just a dog”.I think it’s all about perceptive.We are raising quality puppies to become your next family member,your kids next best friend and we do that with respect and pride.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies include liver roan, liver and white, black roan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Hailee, was absolutely amazing. This was my first puppy and I when I was looking at all the available Vizsla litters there was something that spoke to me about the way Hailee shared the story of the new pups. When you know you know righr. My amazing baby boy Whiskey aka Snow from the litter maybe the best pup ever. From day 1 he’s been potty trained learned all the tricks by day 3 and by day 5 he has me trained to do whatever he says. Hailee shared so many pictures and videos during his first 8-weeks, and every time you could tell these pups were being raised in a home and not a puppy mill. I truly think the way she raises the pups makes them so real adjusted and so smart. I’m already looking forward to getting Whiskey a little bro after he turns 1 and the only breeder I’ll even consider is Hailee. I don't care where you live fly to Virginia pick up an amazing pup and drive them home. I feel blessed everyday and I’m truly thankful for Hailee and her family for giving me the greatest Christmas gift.
