I'm Mim F., the breeder behind Ponavie PONs located in Mill Valley, CA. AKC registered champion bloodlines, health tested with great temperaments. Our PONs undergo OFA and CAER health certification. Our goal is to maintain the finest representation of the PON standard in the conformation ring, and to accentuate their wonderful temperament. We feed natural raw meat diet.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with breeding dogs, completed vet tech school and it grew from there.
What makes your program special?
We are ‘HOBBY BREEDERS’ of Polish Lowland Sheepdogs, and we feel privileged to share our lives and hearts with this wonderful breed. I only breed once a year, our pups are raised in my bedroom, socialized by my kids and loved by us all.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black gray and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 (rcd4)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
