I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Portie Club PWD's located in Mount Vernon, OH. Welcome! Because there is so much to discuss, I encourage you to call me for a chat. Our AKC, CERTIFIED Bred With H.E.A.R.T. Portuguese Water Dog parents are fully DNA tested with Optimal Selection as well as OFA certified and X-rayed for excellent hip health. Puppies are raised from birth using methods that keep hips and elbows from becoming loose as their soft, flexible bones begin to harden in the first 8 weeks. All testing is shown with each dog on our site. Our dogs and puppies enjoy well-balanced, homemade meals prepared with ingredients specific to canines of their size and energy level for optimal health and nutrition. My husband claims I cook more for them than us!🤣 Our puppies go home with important knowledge on dangerous over-vaccination, spay/neuter information, and the best recipes, including kibble, to ensure they live their best life, healthy and happy! They are, first and foremost, part of our family. Our puppies are raised in our home with constant supervision and lots of activity, assuring you a well-socialized, confident, and lovable family member with a beautiful temperament. We also perform neurological and socialization methods with the puppies, some of which come from ENS/ESI methods. Puppies also go home trained to potty outdoors along with no-nip methods a family will continue after taking their puppy home. We chat at length with people and encourage talking with many breeders to make sure we are a good fit before we place our puppies. Please see our wonderfully transparent and informative site at portieclub . com for answers to most of your questions and then some! You can enjoy many pictures, videos, and kind words from current Portie Club puppy parents. A happy, healthy puppy makes a happy family! I look forward to chatting with you! Take Care, Jenn.
