I'm Angie D., the breeder behind Portneuf Range Pyrenees located in Idaho. Our dogs are loving family members with the special job of guarding our family & livestock.
Q. & A. with Angie
Why did you start breeding?
When we were searching for a great pyrenees to join our family and guard livestock, the choices in the area were narrow. We strive to breed healthy, loving dogs with good guarding instincts for livestock and families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Angie was great to work with. As breeders of Pyrenees ourselves, my wife and I can appreciate the dedication that she has to breeding excellent dogs. We have done extensive genetic and health testing on Gabe, and his results are excellent. His intelligence and temperament are remarkable, and he was easily able to adapt to our farm in Pennsylvania. He has become an excellent guardian and a leader among our other 9 Pyrenees, one of which is his daughter. Gabe has sired one litter of his own now with his pups placed across the east coast.
