I'm Julie M., the breeder behind Queen of Hearts Dalmatians located in Anchorage, AK. The health of our dogs always comes first. Our dogs are family members & so special to us. We searched to find a terrific winning sire with health at the top of our checklist. I show in AKC Conformation and being involved led me to want to do our part to positively impact the breed we love so much.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
I have bred a couple other breeds at different times in the past so was familiar with the desired results, health testing, and breeder responsibilities but really became attracted to Dalmatian breeding because of our outstanding show dogs and a fantastic breeder and mentor support.
What makes your program special?
We are breeding to improve our pedigrees in accordance with the standard. Our dogs were completely health, temperament tested & proven in the show ring and on the field and we are proud of that. We are proponents of Puppy Culture, ENS exposed, we have a care binder & lifetime support for our Dal owners. Pups are microchipped, BAER (hearing) tested, vaccinated, dewormed, & have dew claws removed.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and black and white and liver brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
