I'm Ashley G., the breeder behind Raven River Ranch located in Anderson, SC. Dalmatians are bright, agile and versatile dogs with a great demeanor, who are always up for anything! I look forward to making the most of the opportunity to carry on this wonderful breed and bring happy, healthy dogs into the homes of many and share the joy of this spotted treasure.

What makes your program special?
My goal is not only to breed healthy dogs, but to provide support and resources for all dog owners so that we can all continue learning how to make man's best friend as happy and healthy as can be so we can enjoy a little bit more time with them, and make the most of that time.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Anne
Anne is a female Dalmatian over 6 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Ashley decided to make her part of their program. Ashley has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Raven River Ranch reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Hyperuricosuria (HUU), DNA Disease Panel, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, Dominant Black DNA Test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
