Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
Over the years, I spent a majority of the time upland game hunting with my family’s Brittany Spaniels. I knew that I wanted to find a more versatile breed. Once I had heard of the Pudelpointer, I was extremely impressed! In 2017, we welcomed our first Pudelpointer, Hay Devil’s Imperial Red, aka Tikka - an extremely intelligent dog and fantastic hunting partner. I knew from that point forward that I wanted to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same benefits from Pudelpointers as I have.
What makes your program special?
I am dedicated to always having responsible breeding policies, and I strive to breed healthy, quality puppies that can fit any lifestyle and excel in their unique hunting capabilities. I am very conscious about who adopts my puppies, always ensuring that they are given the best life possible. My goal is to place puppies into homes that will love and cherish them just as much as I do!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
